Lets Build a Legacy...

Brendan Foley Memorial Skate Park. We are not the ones to change the name of the park but would not be opposed.

Bren left our world on January 14, 2024 after an accident sustained while doing what he loved - shredding at his home mountain, Cannon. Brendan grew up in the Franconia-Bethlehem area and after graduating college moved to Portland, Maine where he stayed until he met Catherine, the love of his life, and moved back home to the mountains. An avid reader, Brendan spent his time reading on the porch while listening to one of his countless records, his beloved dogs by his side. His diverse interests and open nature gave him a special gift of bridging divides and having a wide circle of friends. He loved to snowboard and skateboard, passions he carried with him from his teenage years.

When Bren and his wife Catherine moved from Portland and began to build their life in Bethlehem, he reconnected with his roots - kicking it with the other old heads down at the local skate park. Bren and Catherine started attending the weekly board meetings and got involved with the development efforts to modernize the skate park and expand its role as a community gathering spot. Toward that goal, TRF is raising funds in Brendan's honor to support the development efforts of the Bethlehem Skate Park.

Bethlehem Skatepark is dedicated to building a safe and fun environment for skaters of all ages and abilities to enjoy. The Bethlehem Skatepark fosters a sense of community around skateboarding in the North Country of New Hampshire. Their goal is to create a concrete skatepark that will become a destination to provide endless challenges and fun for the local skate community.
